We set off on the very 1st day of lunar new year to our long awaited vacation...
woke up at 4am to catch our flgiht....yawnz...excited and yet sleepy...
Reached our destination and here we gooooooo....
Checked in ISIS hotel at noon...and cool is the word!
I adored my room and it's plush, elegant style...the top notch service
makes you feels at hm... i love it... no second thots, this shall be
the only choice if i were to visit taipei again... :P
The place is more or less similar to Singapore except for the big mountains
and their freezing weather...
I hv to say that 90% of their shop assistants were very friendly & talks
wif a super 'tei' accent, be it ladies or gents...i supposed these are
the main characteristics of taiwanese...
Well, i enjoyed every single min & secs i spent in taipei but sad to say tht shopping wise is a choas... ppl moutain ppl sea...zzzz...

Catching up with my gals @ paragon for 28th celebration...
it has been the longest time since we met and frankly speaking,
i miss them so so much!
We used to see each other so often wen we were in UAG,
those were the days
where we realli had fun every single day without fail...
Now, we were all in diff industries leading diff lifestyles
at diff pace hence barely hv time to ourselves... so in this case,
we've made a pact to meet up at least once a month regardless
of how busy we were and yesh... die die must stick to it!
Coming up next will be Alycia's birthday cum Xmas dinner!!!! :p

Terrifying expericence on 13th Oct 2010

My heart was pounding loudly as i lay down on the dental chair and as
i clasped my hands tightly together close to my stomach, i ask the doc,
how many injections will i be getting? he look at me with
a smile and say: i wont tell you...
Gosh, this was making me even more nervous...next thing i know, he's
holding it in his hand already....zzzzz... there it goes....1 2 3 4 5 6,
i was counting one by one with my eyes closed and at the same time cursing
him for taking his own sweet time for each inject thinking wen the hell
would the last one be... Finally it stopped at 6... Argggg... i felt so relieved.
But this was not the end... they came up to me 10 mins later and hv me blinded
folded... i was thinking to myself, since my gums are numb, there's nothing to
be afraid of now... then it came a drilling sound! followed by another sawing sound!
wah lau eh, WTH.... i almost wanted to ask the doc to stop! but cant, i knew
tat i just need to get this over and done with...must endure...
it was not a bit painful but the god damn drilling and sawing on my gums
realli freak me out big time. It was so uncomfortable to be able to hear this
sounds going on n on like nv ending...plus the sound of how u
crack a nut...and the huge forces on the pulling and pushing out the
damn wisdom tooth...
this went on for like almost half an hour i guess...end of it, i was
given additional 2more shots...so it makes up a to a 8 in total...

i had 1 extraction n 1 surgery, the shattered piece is the one tat's involved with drilling & sawing during the surgery...

Looking forward to our date on 23rd Oct...

Medical benefits??? MY ASS!!!
Reali damn saiz lo, i believe many companies in Singapore provide
medical benefits for their employees right... yes, my company
practices that as well, but it excluded outpatient services! Which means
i'm only covered when hospitalization.
What the hell do i need that damn medical insurance plan for if outpatient
services are excluded? stupid shit! Which mean i cannot fall
sick lo, for if i do, i gona pay at my own expense to consult a GP.
AND my boss still got the cheek to tell me that all companies in
Singapore does it this way! fuck la, think i never work
in companies before is it! Arggg!!!!!!!

It took me quite a while to made up my mind to quit smoking...
especially for someone who have been smoking for the past 14 yrs,
i bet its not easy to give it up and create a strong will to
avoid a smoking relaspe...
This bad habit has gradually became part of my life... i need them after meals,
i need them during WC and i need them the most when i've got nothing to do...
so,how n where to begin with?
limit myself to a few sticks per day?
get smoking aids from doctors?
or.... throw away my ciggy pack right now n nv to touch it again???
zzz...yea right, easier said than done...!
But somehow, i'll still need to go ahead with this and hopefully it can
be done anytime within 2010...

Look at this newly launched BTO project in Punggol, isnt it beautiful?
Gosh, it caught my eyes the moment i saw it. What attracted most me
were their beautiful roof gardens and de basement carpark.
Well, I've applied for it last night but then again, i'm having
regrets now... the thot of the location and how troublesom it would
be to travel downtown turns mi off tremendously!!! Sigh...
BUT.......i just came to know that nono also applied for the same location...
Woohoo!!!! so means we might be neighbours in future.... lol

Pamper & rejuvenate ourselve once in a
while at G Spa is certainly not a bad idea!
A few of us spent like almost 8 hours there yesterday and did
nothing elses except for massaging, steaming, jacuzz-ing & eating...
a place with whole sense of relaxation where stresses were casted aside...
a place of refuge i would say...
Out of the so many spas and massages centers i patronized, this was the
biggest & most luxurious of them all with its stylish interior deco
that makes this trip all so worthwhile... not only that, you could get
to enjoy free flowsssssssss of singapore's famous local delights
and i tell you, it's yummy!
I hope we'll be going there sometime soon again...

Whoohoo...going in JB for a seafood feast tonight with the geylang gang...

Its really nice to organize such outing once in a bluemoon but if ever there's a second chance, i'll order buffet instead of bbqing...mum & aunt were so busi most of the time preparing those food & makes me feel bad cause they rarely hv the chance to relax.

First Visit to RW with boss & team members... It was also a farewell

This shipping company offers good benefits and might get to drive home too,
but apart from that, i'll need to drive the boss ard
like a chauffer if needed... Haiz, now then i know the jobscope
of a PA does not only include managing director's schedule and
adminstrative support, it includes being a DRIVER too...

Some updates on the pics we took last sun, went on a cycling trip
at east coast and we were all burnt under the hot sun during the
2 hours ride and needless to say, i'm now 3 times darker than before... argggggh!!! but then again, looking forward to our date on 2nd May... :P

Awaken by a prank call in de early morning, the caller's insane, telling mi he's in hospital due to excessive drinking from the night before and threw out blood, urged me to SGH visit him and he's none other than CHEN XIAOXING. Luckily i'm not so dumb to have believed his words and therefore i called leng to confirmed if that dude's at home and she said yes...@##@!@#$
He's such a lame ass, fancy cursing himself on the very first day of lunar new year... xiao!!!
Its still early but since i'm awake, i might as well go prepare myself and get ready for the morning tea ceremony. Well, it seems rather weird to you guys but it has been a tradition since young to serve tea to the elders in our family and quote a few new year well wishes before they handed us our hongbao...eg: 万事如意 , 龙马精神 , 事事顺利 etc... My fav quote was 身体健康 , which i believe everyone needs to stay healthy in order to be happy...

Sucky monday blues nv fails to come. Gosh, i just hate Mondays cause its reminding me of the overwhelming emails + workloads that i'll receive in the early morning...
Hasnt been updating for awhile, been too busy at work and even though after office hours, i'll still be stucked on my lappy at home wif tons n tons of unfinished work.
Am spending de next 3 days at sis place as travelling time from her place is nt as time consuming compare to from bukit panjang. Haiz, this happens only wen baby's not ard to drive me to work, i think i rely on him too much, didnt realised it untill he went on a 2 weeks reservice... Whenever baby drives me to work, i'm alwayz the 1st person to reach office and if had'nt for him, i guess i would have been sack by my boss for being late every single day...
PS: i miss you...but i miss your ride even more... :p

It went well overall except for my colleuges were either from India, thailand, malaysia or Japan. Gosh, i foresee Communication problems arising very very soooooon... These ppl do not look friendly and they are almost like a mute!
The best thing was, lunch time's only 15mins!!!! Argggggg!!!! wat a joke...
The way they ate was like as if they hasn't been eating for 2 days...gobble gobble gobble & done!!.. $%@#$#%#^$
i was like only halfway thru but i felt rather embarrased that they hv to wait for mi and so i said: ermmm ok, i'm full...let's go.
Deep inside my heart, i was cursing them like hell for wasting my food.
Immediately after work, got myself few pack of cup noodles and cookies... i guess having these junkies are better off having lunch with them...

MFG...It was chaos! Singaporeans are known to be kiasu i know, BUT i didnt expect that was till this extend...women pushing ard, flipping the clothes as if its was 3 for $10 n couldnt be bothered to pick up the ones they dropped on the floor..
i really pity the sales staff...
Argggg... the ugly sights pisses mi off so much and i totally gave up on searching for more great deals... manage to get myself a tube top and fullstop...
As for sis, she was happily hunting for her clothes among the crowd as well... but of course she's not 1 of those ugly singaporeans i'm refering to...haha...

Granny who mumbles alot to herself due to slight mental disorder and senile for yrs has pass away peacefully in her sleep due to heart failure and thus left us all on
7th Dec 2009, 2am.
I was in a complete daze upon receiving the bad news frm sis on the night itself.
Went over to Grandma hse next morning for the funeral arrangements and stay over at the wake... Following days were the same untill day 4, i'm totally drained out... but i guess, this would be the 1 & only last thing i could do for her...
Frankly speaking, though she left us so suddenly but i am still thankful that god took her away without causing her much pain or sufferings...

Day 5: it's the last day of the funeral, we would be sending grandma off as her last journey on earth in a few hours time, everyone's feeling depressed of course but wat makes mi most worried is mummy...
she's devastated than any1 of us here as she's been looking after granny for so many yrs... she loved her like how she love her children, she took care of her daily needs
and gave her the best she could...
just by looking at mum's swollen eyes is enough to break one's heart.
i really do hope that she will be strong & get over grandma's death soon...

Another round of celebration at kbox with zhen and ling on a monday evening...
frankly speaking i was already dead tired wen i knock off but if i were to
call off our date, i'll be dead for sure...lol
We enjoyed ourselves regardless of the 'noise pollution' mostly contributed
by me and yes, they got mi a strawberry cheese cake!!!
i ate the cake, feeling sinful at the same time cause all my efforts in dieting
for de day has all gone dw the drain...
The merely 4 hrs of get-together was deeply carved in my heart...

Back at baby's at bout 11pm...just wen the clock strike 12am baby came
forward and happily wish mi happy birthday and urged me to the dining area
where the cake was placed...
i like it wen he's playing ard with me cause thats's
the only time he doesnt look stern...like a kid...

Firstly, i would like to say a big thank you to nono n rose for making time
for mi on Sat (7th Nov 2009) morning... met up at east coast for seafood buffet,
the food's was delicous n most important was that the wide selection's definatly worth the price!
After the sumptous buffet, we went over to hotel fairmont straight and of course not forgetting to snap snap in the cab during the short journey... we made so much noise, from laughing to screaming... n i guess the taxi uncle is kinda pissed...
but who cares??? lol
Checked in at bout 3pm n thats wen the real funz was bout to begin.................
de 3 of us squeezed in the small bathtub and started our camwhore and bitching session.
By 7 plus, baby, tyl and heng came and we started on some games...
blind mice, poker, ghost story tellin, 5/10 etc... that was childish isnt it???!!!
but............ we had so much fun!!! Well, we should have present a humty dumpy trophy to Mr Eric Tan isnt it??? if not for this clumsy joker, we wouldnt hv laughed so hardddddddd......haha
the rest of the crowd came in at bout 11pm and drinking war between de uncles and youngsters begin...... its was just so happening that night though we got complaints from the management... but that didnt stop us from lowering down our volume cause most of us were so so high.......
Its was definately a fabulous nitez for everyone and i greatly appreaciate their attendance.... thank to all who were present and making a memorable night for me.
This was the best birthday celebration ever...

To nono n tyl: thanks for the home made cup cakes, though its a little bit too oily and a little bit too sweet, but it definately melts my heart... i was so touched upon seeing those little things placed in front of me...
Rem wen Rose n you ask mi wats my most expensive birthday gift i received in my whole life? i hesitated and answered a watch... but now, i've got de ans...its the little cup cakes that both of ya made especially for me... Done with my last paper today and met up with mummy for a sumptous lunch at Tiong Bahru Plaza. Afterwhich, pampered myself with a birthday gift which i've been eyeing for few months, LV Eva Clutch.
Make my way dw to far east to do some shopping while waiting for nono,
got a pair of sandals, a ring, nail polishes and visited my fav store...Watson, for the daily necessities. Still, we still didnt manage to meet up cause my feets were kinda numb n sore hence decided to head hm...
